Brussels, 19/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - The EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Cooperation Committee, held last week in Brussels under the joint chairmanship of Jan Marinus Wiersma (PES, NL) and Borys Tarasyuk, welcomed Ukraine's "European aspirations" and felt that the partnership and cooperation agreement with the EU is the "best base" for strengthening this relationship. Ukraine's desire to join the EU, however, must go hand in hand with continued reforms, especially economic and political reforms....
