25/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Permanent Representatives Committee (COREPER) has agreed to the European Commission's request to provide an overview (for the years 2001 to 2004) of the implementation of the regulation on the application of the principle of free circulation of services to maritime cabotage, rather than providing interim reports. The ECOFIN Council of 5 November will formally accept this request and not criticise the Commission for failing to provide reports for 2001 and 2002.
