Brussels, 25/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - Thursday evening, Convention chairman Valery Giscard d'Estaing presented the state of work within the European Convention to the heads of State and Government meeting for the European Council of Brussels. VGE underpinned the "immense need for simplification" that had emerged in the listening stage and asked for governmental representatives in the Convention to provide their active support in this essential effort.
