Cox urges for debate on financing and CAP not to hold up accession negotiations and trusts that, in Copenhagen, Rasmussen will offer more seats at EP to some future Members

Brussels, 25/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - The President of the European Parliament, Pat Cox, during his meeting on Friday morning with the participants at the European Council in Brussels, appealed to them, as he later told the press, so that the debate among the Fifteen on funding enlargement would not hold up membership of the first ten candidate countries.
