While demanding guarantees, Daul report approves spirit of Fischler's strategy on mid-term revision of CAP

Strasbourg, 25/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Monday evening in Strasbourg, the parliamentary committee on agriculture adopted the report by Joseph Daul (EPP-ED, France) which approves the main principles of Franz Fischler's strategy on mid-term review of Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), subject, however, to honouring certain guarantees. The resolution must be voted during the plenary on 6 and 7 November in Brussels when the Commission will be questioned on CAP revision.
