Strasbourg/Brussels, 26/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament has adopted, during its second reading, the "Life Insurance Directive", by approving the report by the British Conservative Lord Inglewood. This directive merges all current life insurance directives into a single document, including the last one that required guarantees of solvability. The text will enter into force after its ratification by the Presidents of the Council and Parliament
