New European investment funds director and new Secretary General

Brussels, 23/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the European Investment Bank (EIB) announced two new nominations within its group: Francis Carpenter from 1 August will become the new Director General of the European Investment Funds (EIF) at the EIB. The former EIB Secretary General between 1996 and 2002 will replace Walter Cernoia, who will be joining the SanPaolo IMI to direct its activities in central and eastern Europe, as well as in the Mediterranean; from 1 August, Eberhard Uhlmann...
