Brussels, 11/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's vote at first reading on two proposals of regulation concerning the labelling and traceability of food or feed produced from genetically modified crops (see EUROPE of 4 July, p.12), was welcomed by almost unanimous resounding praise from environmentalists, trade and consumers. Only the Americans were displeased.
