Proposals for applying flexibility instrument

Brussels, 11/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - ON Wednesday the Commission adopted a proposal on the application of a flexibility instrument in 2003 for financing the following expenditure: EUR 27 million (measures for restructuring Spanish and Portuguese ships; EUR 32 million (aid for destruction of boats within the framework sector reform) and EUR 65.8 million for creating 500 Commission posts for enlargement.
