Members of Fisheries Committee consider Presidency timetable for adopting proposals for reform of the sector is too ambitious

Brussels, 11/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - During the presentation on Wednesday morning of the Danish EU Presidency's priorities for the fisheries sector, members of the relevant parliamentary committee considered the timetable for adoption of reform proposals for that sector as over-ambitious. Some MEPs also reproached the Danish Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, Mariann Fischer Boel, for not having adopted a truly neutral position on this issue.
