Barcelona, 14/03/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Social Summit, that now, in virtue of decisions taken in Laeken, precedes each Spring European Council, met in Barcelona on Thursday 14 March, chaired by Jose Maria Aznar, with the participation of Romano Prodi and Anna Diamantopoulou, Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Greece's Costas Simitis, as well as Spain's minister of Employment, Juan Carlos Aparicio and representatives of the European social partners.
