ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) insurance

The Italian insurance group GENERALI has secured a licence to operate on the Chinese life-insurance market through a joint-venture with China's number one in petrochemicals CNPC - CHINA NATIONAL PETROLEUM CORPORATION. The joint-venture, called GENERALI CHINA LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY, will be controlled equally by GENERALI and CHINA PETROLEUM FINANCE COMPANY, subsidiary of CNPC.
