18/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the EU welcomed the initiative by Central and Eastern European countries, Cyprus, Malta, Turkey and EFTA members of the European Economic Area, which have pledged to share the objectives set out in the common positions unveiled on 27 December 2001 to combat terrorism.
