Interreg programme for Italy and Slovenia

Brussels, 11/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has adopted a programme of EUR 118 million for cross-border cooperation between Italy and Slovenia. The Interreg programme 2000-2006 is financed up to EUR 43 million by the EU, EUR 43 million by the national and regional public sectors, and 50.1 million by the private sector. Commissioner Michel Barnier, responsible for regional policy, announced the programme had been approved on the occasion of his visit to Slovenia on Friday....
