Brussels, 11/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the European Parliament will elect Nicole Fontaine's successor as the President of the EP for the next two and a half years (until the end of this parliamentary term - see below and page 3). The EP will also elect the 14 Vice-Presidents the same day, while on Wednesday it will elect the 5 Quaestors. It will not be electing the Presidents of the Committees until next week (at the Committee meetings).
