Pascal Lamy in China on 3 and 4 December

Brussels, 30/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - Ahead of China's official entry to the WTO on 11 December, Pascal Lamy will be visiting Shanghai and Beijing on 3 and 4 December at the invitation of the Chinese Trade Minister Shi Guangsheng. The European Commissioner will also be meeting Ms Wu Yi (Member of the State Council) and Mr Li Rongrong (Minister of the State Economic and Trade Commission) and will be discussing economic and trade co-operation with China.
