Cohn-Bendit to succeed Lannoye

Brussels, 20/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - The German Green member elected in France, Daniel Cohn-Bendit, is to soon take over from the Belgian co-president, Paul Lannoye, who has not put forward his candidature. The two-headed leadership of the Greens and European Free Alliance Group will be completed, on 28 November, by an election of the co-president to succeed Finnish-born Heidi Hautala, who will not be running again either.
