British PEARSON has just signed an agreement in China with the educational TV channel, CTV MDIA LTD, a subsidiary of the national television, CCTV - CHINA CENTRAL TELEVISION, dedicated to productions and multimedia. The agreement provides for the creation of a joint venture called PEARSON CTV MEDIA, based in Beijing, a company that will provide educational programmes in English with a view to the Olympic Games scheduled to take place in the Chinese town in 2008.
