Brussels, 11/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European commission has decided to release an emergency aid package of Euro 350,000 to flood victims in Sabac in the west-Midlands of Serbia. The European Office will oversee this assistance for Humanitarian Aid (ECHO) which will go towards the rehabilitation of damaged houses and repairing the water distribution system. So far, Euro 45.3 million has been allotted to humanitarian needs in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia's Sabac region
