European Banking Federation firmly rejects German proposal of modifying State "Anstaslast" guarantee

Brussels, 16/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Banking Federation has firmly rejected the proposal put forward by the German Government aimed at modifying the "Anstalslast", one of the two State guarantees for the German public banking sector, and pleads for the complete dismantling of the system.
