Report by Mr Bourlanges adopted by COCOBU calls for certain safeguards on status of executive agencies

Brussels, 21/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - By adopting, on Monday, the report by Jean-Louis Bourlanges (UDF, French) on the proposal concerning the status of executive agencies responsible for certain management tasks for the Community programmes, the Budgetary Control Committee (COCBU) called for safeguards to avoid a dismantling of the Commission services.
