Commission and rail industry sign Memorandum of Understanding to speed up technical harmonisation of railway - stakes for industry

Naples, 12/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - The rail industries and the European Commission signed, last Friday in Naples, a memorandum of understanding in which they undertake to speed up adoption of new forms of technical harmonisation for conventional railways and the implementation of the standards adopted for the high speed train system.
