12/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - The humanitarian situation of Sahrouis refugees continues to worsen: today, their stores of food basic products are almost empty. That is why the European Commission decided on Tuesday to grant emergency aid of 3.77 million euro intended to re-supply 155,340 refugees essentially spread over four camps situated in the region of Tindouf (south-west Algeria). The aid will be channeled and distributed by NGOs partners of the EU Humanitarian aid Office (Echo)...
