12/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has decided to send a reasoned opinion to Sweden whose tax system plays in favour of beer produced in Sweden, to the detriment of imported wine. It is basing itself on a Court ruling, recognizing that table wine and beer are competitors. EUROPE will return.
