Croatia sees in initialling of Association Agreement as first step towards EU accession

Brussels, 14/05/2001 (Agence Europe) - For us the Stabilisation and Association Agreement is the first step towards our final objective, accession to the European Union, stated the Croatian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Tonino Picula, after having initialled on Monday, with Commissioner Patten, the Stabilisation and Association Agreement between the European Union and the Croat Republic.
