Brussels, 24/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - In view of next December's Laeken Summit, the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) and its Belgian subsidiaries, the CSC/ACV and FGTB/ABVV, presented an "ETUC, FGTB and CSC Memorandum to the Belgian Presidency of the EU" in Brussels on 23 April (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.13). Drawn up with ETUC's full support, this Memorandum would like an "ambitious Belgian Presidency involving the social partners" in its work and with as goal "full quality...
