ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) steel

THYSSENKRUPP STEEL confirmed that it was preparing a strategic alliance with the Japanese groups NKK and KAWASAKI STEEL, which have just announced their intention to merge (see following page). Initially, no cross shareholding is planned, but, possibly in the future, the creation of joint ventures.
