Brussels, 28/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - Membership talks with the twelve candidate countries will be resuming on Thursday and Friday in Brussels at deputy level. These will be the first deputy level negotiating meetings under Swedish Presidency. On Thursday, six candidate countries will have their meetings successively, with the following agenda: - Poland will close the chapters on free movement of goods and customs union. - Hungary will continue negotiations on the free provision of services and corporate law. - The Czech Republic will close the chapters on free provision of services and corporate law, and will continue negotiations on energy. - Slovenia is expected to close four chapters: free movement of goods, energy, environment and the free movement of capital. - Cyprus will close the chapter on the free movement of capital and will pursue discussions on competition policy. - Malta will close the chapter on financial control and will continue negotiating on the free provision of services.
