Brussels, 28/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - On the initiative of Gianni Vattimo, the EP members of Democratici di sinistra are organising a seminar at the European Parliament on 29 March, from 10.00-to18.00 hrs., on "Language and subjects of the Right in Europe", noting the growing support the forces of the political Right is enjoying in Italy and in Europe, which, on several occasions, have backed "intransigent and reactionary" policies. Work will be inaugurated by the President of the Socialist Group in the EP, Enrique Baron. Other than several MEPs, intellectuals like Fernando Savater, Jurgen Habermas and Paolo Flores d'Arcais will also participate in the work.
