Brussels, 28/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Commission took the following decisions concerning State aids:
Former East Germany: closed an investigation into aid granted to the Lintra holding and its eight subsidiaries. Part of the aid was authorised, while another part was judged illegal. Moreover, procedures against certain subsidiaries are still underway;
Italy: opening of a procedure against an Italian aid from the processing and marketing of agricultural products in Venitia;
Denmark: authorisation of an aid for restructuring granted to the State transport company by autobus Combus;
United Kingdom: approval of the exoneration system for the British tax on climate change.
