Strasbourg, 16/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - The EP, in adopting on Thursday a resolution from all the political groups, denounced once more the violations of human rights in Chechnya, notably in the so called "filtration" camps and the illegal detention centres, and called on the European Commission for Humanitarian Aid, Poul Nielson to go to Chechnya and the Republic of Ingouchia (where more than 200,000 Chechen refugees live), to organise the aid necessary to avoid a "humanitarian disaster"....
