16/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - Swedish Finance Minister Bosse Ringholm, President-in-Office of the Ecofin Council, welcomed the Lamfalussy Committee for its report on regulation of the securities markets (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.7), that he considers a major contribution to strengthening the European economy.
