Strasbourg, 16/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - The EP, in adopting a resolution on the situation in Guinea Conakry, noted that roughly 500,000 refugees which come from Sierra Leon and Liberia, as well as 70,000 Guineans displaced to the interior live in this country, and invited the European Commission to reinforce its humanitarian aid in favour of the refugees and to contribute more actively, with the High Commissioner for Refugees, in the return of the people concerned to their countries of...
