Brussels, 16/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - By adopting, in first reading the report by the German Christian Democrat Emilia Franziska Muller, the European Parliament approved, by reinforcing the draft Directive that aims to partially harmonise the national legislation relating to food supplements, by concentrating on vitamins and minerals, in the interest of the proper functioning of the internal market and the protection of consumers health.
