Brussels, 01/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has closed its investigation into aid granted between 1993 and 1995 by Spain to the fertiliser manufacturer Fesa-Enfersa (re-named Fertibeira) with a positive response. The investigation began on 19 May 2000. The 151 million euro aid has been declared compatible with the guidelines for State aid for the rescue and restructuring of ailing companies.
