The Belgian economic review Trends has published its annual "Top 30,000" listing the largest companies in Belgium, in terms of consolidated accounts for the year 1999. Ranking first, DELHAIZE LE LION is well ahead of TRACTEBEL, SOLVAY, FORD BELGIUM, TOYOTA EUROPE and SIDMAR. Among the top ten companies, three are of Belgian nationality: DELHAIZE, SOLVAY and AGFA-GEVAERT.
