PHILIPS MEDICAL SYSTEMS (Dutch electronics group PHILIPS) and the Israeli company SHL TELEMEDICINE have announced the creation of a joint venture intended to develop new geographical markets for cardiology telemedicine products and services in Europe. The Dutch group will initially hold 80.1% of the joint undertaking and SHL 19.9%. The latter will have the possibility of climbing to 35% in later years.
