Report on EU budgetary management in 1999 still contains criticisms and court is likely to refuse to give a clean discharge

Brussels, 09/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Court of Auditors is likely to again refuse to give a clean discharge to the European Union accounts. Ever since the 'clean discharge' procedure was formally set up in 1995, the Court of Auditors has criticised the management of payment credits from the EU budget and has refused to give it a clean discharge.
