Negotiations on new Euro-Morocco fisheries cooperation make headway - Next meeting on 21 November

Brussels, 09/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - As agreed at the meeting on 30 October in Brussels, the negotiations between delegations from Morocco and of the European Commission on the future fisheries cooperation continued on 8 and 9 November in Rabat. They allowed the European delegation to present a response to the Moroccan position (see EUROPE of 1 November, p.8). The negotiation unfolded around four main aspects: - fishing possibilities for European boats; - the obligation to unload catches...
