Temporary Committee on Human Genetics

Brussels, 20/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Conference of Presidents of the EP political groups accepted the creation of a temporary, 36-member committee on "human genetics and other new technologies in modern medicine". The committee, expected to work for one year, would begin its work in January 2001 (agreement from the EPP/ED group was obtained upon this condition).
