ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) technology

The American groups HONEYWELL and UNITED TECHNOLOGIES are in talks in view of a merger. According to the financial television channel, this operation will take place through a take over of HONEYWELL by UNITED TECHNOLOGIES in a share swap values at around USD 40 billion. The two groups have an annual cumulated turnover of USD 50 billion.
