Brussels, 10/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - This Thursday 12 October, the European Commission is organising the first conference bringing together representatives of civil society to brief them and hear what they have to say over ongoing negotiations for an EU Association Agreement with Mercosur and Chile. The conference will be opened by the Commissioner for External Relations, Chris Paten, and will take place at the Centre Borschette.
