ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) glass

The Belgian group GLAVERBEL made a joint offer with its Turkish competitor SISECAM for the acquisition of the Romanian glass maker GEROM, 51% controlled by the State. Specialised in the production and processing of flat glass, this company is in the process of being privatised and has an an annual turnover of USD 7.8 million with a workforce of 500 people.
