Commission refers Greece and France to the Court of Justice for continued infringement of legislation on waste disposal and incineration

Brussels, 26/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to pursue infringement procedures against Greece and France who do not respect the standards established by Community legislation regarding waste. These two Member States will be hauled before the European Court of Justice (third stage in the procedure under Article 226 of the Treaty) for the following reasons:
