Brussels, 24/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is "closely monitoring" the legislative procedure aiming to provide the United States with a law that, as opposed to their international obligations, would ban companies linked to foreign governments by more than 25% to take over American telecommunications operators.
