Parliament maintains amendments to Directives concerning recognition of professional qualifications in health sector

Strasbourg, 24/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - Adopting the report by the German Christian Democrat Rainer Wieland, the European Parliament modified, in the framework of the EP/Council co-operation procedure, the Council's common position relating to the modification of the Directives concerning the recognition of professional qualifications for nurses, dental practitioners, veterinarians, midwives, pharmacists, doctors (as well as architects).
