Europol makes first contact in view of concluding cooperation agreements with third countries and international organisations so as to fight against organised crime

The Hague, 28/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - Following the decision by the Justice and Home Affairs Council on the 27 March to authorise the Director of Europol, Jurgen Storbeck, to begin negotiations with third countries and international organisations in view of strengthening the fight against organised crime, Europol organised at its headquarters in The Hague, on Wednesday and Thursday, a seminar aiming to prepare formal negotiations that will lead to the signing of co-operation agreements....
