Meeting of Industry Directors to prepare the June Ministerial session on industrial co-operation

Brussels, 28/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Directors General of Industry for the EU, Mediterranean and European Commission are meeting this weekend in Lisbon to prepare the June Ministerial session on Industrial co-operation. This co-operation should represent an important element in the Barcelona process. A first session of the Industry Ministers took place in May 1996 and a second in October 1998.
