Further delays in definition of beneficiary areas of Objective 1 and (in one case) Objective 2

Brussels, 28/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The adoption of Community Support Frameworks (CSF) 2000-2006 for the regions covered by Objective 1 of the regional policy are getting delayed. Contrary to what the Commission estimated (see EUROPE of 3 and 4 April, p.14), all the CSF will not be adopted before the end of the month of May. The Finish, Austrian, Portuguese and Italian CSF have been adopted. Denmark and Luxembourg are not eligible for this Objective. Those of all the other Member States...
