28/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - Austrian authorities have issue a payment order for the payment on the date required (the 2 May) of their countries monthly contribution to the Community budget. Thus Austria has ended, for the moment at least, the threats by its Minister for Finance to delay the payments in response to the bilateral sanctions by the fourteen other Member States.
